The Erika und Erwin Schreiter Stiftung is a charitable foundation with its registered office in Bonn. It was founded by Stefan Schreiter and named after his parents, Erika and Erwin Schreiter.

The Foundation supports selected initiatives in education, children and young people, health, social support and international development.
Origins & idea

Values have a source.

The names Erika and Erwin Schreiter represent the Foundation's family roots. Stefan Schreiter gave the Foundation the names of his parents, linking a personal connection with a charitable mission.

At its heart is the conviction that long-term social development requires direction. Education, research and social support achieve their greatest impact when combined with responsibility, reliability and a clear sense of values.

The Foundation therefore sees its engagement not as a short-term intervention, but as a contribution to structures and opportunities that strengthen people over time.

The Foundation supports selected initiatives with the aim of using its resources responsibly. Strong projects combine a clearly identifiable need with a viable idea and people prepared to take responsibility for implementation.

This perspective shapes both the selection of projects and the way the Foundation works with its partners.

Stefan Schreiter.

Stefan Schreiter is an entrepreneur, investor and founder of the Erika und Erwin Schreiter Stiftung. After studying business administration in Göttingen, he held management positions across a range of industrial and corporate environments.

His professional career has included Thyssen Industrie, ITT Automotive, Carl Zeiss and Stabilus. He subsequently served for many years as CEO of the Dual System Germany, operating at the intersection of business, regulation and social responsibility.

Since leaving the operational management of the Dual System, Stefan Schreiter has been active as a shareholder and as a member of supervisory and advisory boards of several companies. Through SSC Capital, he runs his own investment and advisory company.

For him, the Foundation reflects a long-term understanding of responsibility: using entrepreneurial experience and personal means where they can help create opportunity for society.
